Birds of Paradise

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was incredibly comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The views were spectacular, and the location was perfect for our trip. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed here in mid September 2026 and it was everything we expected plus more! This was definitely a perfect house to rent for our family of 5 with kids 19, 11, and 9 years old. The area was so relaxed and laid back. But close enough to St. Pete’s, Indian Shores, and Clearwater for more “tourist” like activities. The beach is way less crowded in this area. We arrived late the first night and were able to find and get into the house easily. The second day we took the gold cart out. We had a minor hiccup with getting the cart going, we text Tom and he was there in, no lie, less than a minute to get us going. That was the only time we had to reach out to him during our 7 night stay. Everything about the house and around town was clearly communicated before we even arrived. The pool and hot tub were used every day whether for a quick dip or an all day pool day. The kayak and paddle board were great to head over to pirates island. We found awesome shells over there that were way bigger than the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The towels felt brand new, there were plenty of extras too! The house was also a great setting for some family pictures! We definitely made memories to last a lifetime here and will recommended this house to everyone we know!

Beautiful area and close to town. Easy access to beach! Pictures and description match listing. Tom was very responsive when we had a question and sends all info to you ahead of time!

Wow. Just finished an incredible few days at Birds of Paradise as a family with 3 children. The location is perfect. We spent hours in the pool which was spotless overlooking the sea. Our boys particularly enjoyed the fishing and kayaking across to the island. The golf buggy is ideal to get to the beach or pick up a morning coffee from a local cafe. The house was immaculate and beautifully finished. Thank you for a perfect stay and we’ll definitely be returning.

Tom is an excellent host. Prompt response to questions and always helpful. The home is pristine and perfect for a family getaway. The golf cart is great way to get around locally without needing a car. We are already planning our next visit.

The boys caught sharks off the dock on top of so many other fish. The home is beautiful and the spot on water is possibly the best you could get at Indian Rocks and beyond. The Island was fun for the boys to kayak over to. The home has everything to make it yours for the week. Endless supplies of everything. The neighbors were nice and the hosts were great. You simply can’t choose a better place for the money. Our only confusion was not realizing the golf cart wasn’t allowed on the BLVD, the main strip but still used on side streets and to the beach. Beach access was even perfect. Choose this place and you will love it. 9 foot deep awesome pool, nice beds and plenty of spots to be lazy at inside and outside. Don’t look more, just book it!!!!you will not be sorry!!!

After spending several vacations in a high-rise condo on the beach, I opted for a SFR on the back bay. This home was a game-changer for myself and my 4 teenagers. The house itself was impeccable and met all our needs from kitchen to sleeping to watching movies at the end of an active day. My teenagers enjoyed kayaking and paddle-boarding to the island while I caught speckled trout of the dock. We also spent hours in the wonderful pool and hot-tub. We cruised the local area in the golf cart and shuttled back and forth from the beach where access and parking was easy. We also used the golf cart to drive to dinner/restaurants in the evenings and to local convenient stores if we needed to satisfy a late night sweet tooth. Simply put, this house delivers in every way imaginable. We will certainly book again. Last but not least, Tom is a first rate host! Thanks

We just enjoyed our second stay at Birds of Paradise! Host is very helpful and always responsive. The house is even prettier than the pictures and the view is incredible! The house has every possible amenity you could want - pool floats, kayak, paddle board, golf cart and so much more. We always have a great time in Indian Rocks Beach and will definitely stay at one of Tom’s places in the future. 10 out of 10!

Tom was a great host. He provided a beautiful home on the water to enjoy a relaxing trip in Indian Rocks. Very clear instructions and the home provided all we needed for our 4-night stay. It was pricey but the location on the water and the very clean pool/hot tub was worth it.

The place is Magic , the house has all of everything you need , the view amazing, we have a very great time , the host was always available to any question and keep us always all information we need , thanks for all.

Birds of Paradise was just that…..Paradise! Could not be happier! The house was amazing with all amenities and more! Immaculate cleanliness and felt right at home. The pool was perfect! The firepit and outdoor furniture was great! The view amazing! Better than the pics! Best place ever! Close to activities!! So relaxing! Did not want to leave!!!!!!We will be back! Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had as FL locals who love the gulf coast. The pictures, while stunning, do not do this home justice. When you’re enjoying the calm quiet of the bay and watching dolphins play <5 feet away, you’ll understand. My husband asked for a peaceful retreat for a milestone birthday and Tom delivered. We had every amenity we could ask for and it made packing for a 5 day trip so much easier. The home was spotless and it’s clear from the linens to even the dock out back, not a detail was missed nor a single expense spared. The golf cart made going to the beach so easy, the countless recommendations Tom had pre-listed were so helpful and the spa and fire pit were our favorite way to end each day. We will be back again in sure of it.

Dolphins , stingrays, birds everyday right off the dock. Pool and hot tub was crystal clear and warm. Beach Towels were provided. 2 bedrooms could use mirrors . Absolutely the best , we plan on booking again

Wunderschönes Haus direkt am Wasser mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Das Haus und die Terrasse waren noch grosszügiger als wir erwartet hätten und der Pool war sehr gross und sauber. Überhaupt war alles sauber und gepflegt, die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, die Betten waren super bequem. Besonders genossen haben wir die Ausflüge mit dem Golfcart (zum Pickleball spielen, an den Strand, zum Einkaufen…) und die unzähligen Delfinbeobachtungen auf der Terrasse. Wir waren rundum begeistert und kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank Tom 💛🐬

Tom is awesome! He has great places out here and stay at his properties when we visit. Wouldn’t look anywhere else. Very responsive. Awesome houses. Helpful with stuff to do if you need some ideas and also helps set up outside activities if that’s of interest. 10/10 would recommended!!

My husband and I took our two adult children, their spouses, and our 1yr old grandchild to enjoy a place on an intercostal waterway and near the beach. This place fit the bill! Absolutely beautiful views from the stunning backyard which included a pool and hot tub. The home was lovely, and clean with ample, comfortable seating for the whole family. Great for a movie night! Well stocked kitchen. The extras like the kayaks, and golf cart were wonderful! Good fishing right from the dock out back and daily dolphin sightings. We would love to return next year!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Our family enjoyed just swimming everyday and the hot tub in the evenings. Watching dolphins swim around daily was a fun surprise.

Birds of Paradise is amazing! Property is pristine, lives up to the pictures and has lots to do within golf cart distance. Tom was responsive, easy to work with and very friendly. Bonus was the multiple dolphin sightings we had!!

This is an absolute stunning area. It’s got a beautiful pool. The master bedroom faces over the ocean. It’s got a dock and go out and sit down and fish. We got kayaks to roll over to the island. We only had a little trouble trying to adjust the hot tub, but it really is a great place to come and look forward to coming again

Clean and beautifully decorated. Pool area was updated and gorgeous. Had a fishing charter pick us up right at our dock. Kayaked nearly everyday. Fished everyday and caught something EVERYDAY. Such a fun vacation here. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful and just a short ride to the beach and the golf cart made it even better. The pool and spa were out of this world, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Tom and his team were truly amazing attentive, helpful, and kind. Our stay at 488 Harbor Dr was nothing short of unforgettable. The property is even more stunning in person than in the photos. Waking up to panoramic water views, lounging by the crystal-clear pool, and ending the day by the fire pit with a breathtaking sunset over the bay—it was pure magic. The home is incredibly pet-friendly, which made it easy to enjoy our time without leaving our pup behind. He loved exploring the yard (especially in his shark vest!) while we relaxed poolside or fished right off the private dock. Our family made lasting memories—from the kids running around with hibiscus flowers in hand to peaceful mornings casting lines into the water. The layout of the home is perfect for both quiet mornings and family fun throughout the day. The location is ideal: peaceful, private, and still close to local attractions, shopping, and restaurants. The host was responsive, thoughtful, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home.

Our stay at the birds of paradise location was absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to come back and even stay at the locations! The house was clean, private, and the view was hands down amazing!

This was our first Airbnb in Indian Rocks. We loved the house. We loved the quiet neighborhood, the view. Easy access to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely book again or another of their beautiful properties!

Fabulous does not do it justice!! 1st time with Airbnb and the entire process went seamlessly!! New to the area, and Tom was so helpful with suggestions for activities. I didn’t know what to expect, and was so impressed with the process, amenities, cleanliness and upmost care provided by Tom and Dena. They have set the bar high and we are already planning our next visit back!!!

We had an amazing stay while in IRB. Communication was great with the owners. Everyone had lots of room without having to be around each other. (Family of all boys). Views were absolutely amazing from the dock and patio area. Plenty of seating outside and room for the whole family. Golf cart, kayaks, beach towels were all an amazing touch added to this property. Only slight con to the property which could be added later is there wasn’t enough wash cloths. We purchased some while at Walmart. We also had a power outage/surge during a stay no fault of the owner but a ceiling fan didn’t work after. Owner was made aware and stated he would be glad to fix it if we wanted or just wait until we left. Only other thing to mention is the housing development this home is located in, they’re doing construction. You don’t hear a ton of noise from this but at times the road was blocked by dump trucks and other construction debris. Would definitely stay again if ever back in IRB.

I can't say enough about the beautiful property and the hosts. I was nervous because there were no other "reviews" for this property yet but it turned out amazing. The cleanliness for the property was 15/10, Quality finishes in the house, amazing location and we loved the pool. The hosts were so very helpful and answered our questions via call or text almost immediately. We will definitely be back as we were very sad to leave!

Tom is really nice, he got us early checking in at 11am instead of 4pm without us reaching out. Communication is very quick and easy. Both Tom and Dena responded within minutes. Location is such a gem, 3 mins golf cart driving to public beach access and that was extremely peaceful. Excellent outdoor activities with kayaking to the island right behind the house. We totally enjoy that! This was a pleasure staying at Tom’s house. Lots of my friends ask about his place and I highly recommend to everyone.
